Is nothing sacred? AC Milan change their iconic club badge on their new away gear
We all know that Roma have the best gear in football, but AC Milan's kits have always been among our favourites too.
Central to this has always been that iconic crest, with the red and black vertical lines alongside the St. George's Cross - emblem of the city of Milan - but they've only gone and changed it.
The club are marking their move to new headquarters at Casa Milan with a new badge that's completely different from its predecessor.
What we have now are 3D red stripes around a spherical core, with the black in the mix to add depth.
Frankly, it looks a bit bizarre to us and - much like Barcelona's decision to go with shirt sponsors in recent years - sees a break with tradition that Uncle Curmudgeonly JOE is not one bit comfortable with.
