The ballot boxes have closed, the votes have been counted ... and we're calling it a draw in our search for JOE's Unofficial Euro 2012 Song.
The Artistic Differences, four lads based in Melbourne these days, were one of the first entries in our search for a Euro 2012 song when we put the call out last November.
Their version of Alice - "24 Years (We're Gonna Win the Euros)" - and Slim Langan & Friends' "We're Ireland" were the runaway front two in our vote after we compiled a shortlist of six this week.
Now, a bit of an apology.
A giant discrepancy in the PollDaddy functionality resulted in the poll closing at a later time than the 1pm we had advertised, and as Slim and the boys were in front after that time but were overtaken by The Artistic Differences by the time the poll actually closed, we decided the best thing to do was to call it a draw.
(The next best thing to do is to find another poll software solution the next time we run one of these things...)
So here they are, the joint-winners of JOE's Euro 2012 song search.
