Klopp claims record signing Mkhitaryan will fit like “an arse in a bucket”
Jurgen Klopp is one of our favourite managers around. Passionate, honest, humerous and obviously talented, his latest comments will come as no surprise given his charismatic nature.
The Dortmund head honcho is looking to regroup after last season’s disappointing Champions League final defeat and while Mario Gotze has already been lost to rivals Bayern Munich, Bourussia fans will have been excited to see the club break their transfer record to bring in Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Klopp believes the playmaker will fit in nicely with his game plan, though his wording is far more colourful than that.
“Mkhitaryan fits us like an arse in a bucket,” he told Bild.
“What he offers is exactly what we need.”
We couldn’t have put it any better ourselves and we look forward to seeing the Armenian show his wares this coming season nearly as much as Klopp’s pre and post-match interviews.
