The 20-year-old is one of the highest rated youngsters in the Bundesliga.

German newspaper Bild reports that Liverpool have started spending those Champions League shekels with a deal all but sealed for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can. The youngster is very highly rated in the German top flight and represents quite a coup for Reds manager Brendan Rodgers, who has also been linked with Bayern Munich's Swiss midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri.
