Based on this tweet, it looks like Liverpool are not letting Luis Suarez go just yet.
With Roman Abramovich silent, the Glazers almost absentee landlords and the Man City lads keeping a low profile too, Premier League owners are a quiet enough bunch these days, at least at the top.
But the head of the group that owns Liverpool, FSG’s John Henry, might be changing that. Overnight the news broke that Arsenal had made a cheeky £40,000,001 bid for Luis Suarez, a bid subsequently rejected by the Anfield club, and the third such bid reported to have been submitted by the Gunners.
In the last few minutes, Henry tweeted this, suggesting that he’s not too impressed by the Arsenal strategy…
