Back in December we featured the remarkable Zach Hodskins and it seems his extraordinary skills have earned him a spot at one of the top basketball colleges in the US.

Zach Hodskins became a YouTube sensation back in December when a video of his exploits for the Milton High School team in Georgia went viral.

Born with no left arm, Hodskins didn’t let this stop him becoming a devastating force on the basketball court and at the time we speculated that he had enough skills to continue his career in the sport after high school.

That dream was confirmed yesterday when it was reported that the University of Florida, one of the top basketball programs in the United States, had offered him a spot on their roster when he graduates next summer. It’s not a full scholarship, but it is still a great offer from a massive sporting institution.

Not only are Florida after his services but Yahoo Sports also report that a few smaller colleges, like the University of Alabama-Birmingham and Birmingham Southern, also want Hodskins.

Proof, if there ever was, that you can overcome anything to succeed.
