Pic: Brilliant hurling haircut spotted in Flannery’s on Sunday night
How far would you be prepared to go in a public of declaration of your love for hurling? Would you shape your hair to look like a sliotar for instance? This guy did…
As one of the most prominent GAA establishments in the capital, you expect to come across characters with a fierce love of our native games in Flannery’s on big match weekends and it’ll be hard to top the guy spotted in the Camden Street venue on Sunday night last.
People who go to hurling matches regularly will have spotted similar haircuts to the one sported by this Dublin fan on Sunday night, but we don’t know if we have come across one with such detail as this.
From the white base layer of shaved hair to the very lush brown outline above it’s obvious that the fan in question or his hairdresser went to plenty of effort and if it was indeed his hairdresser we would have loved to have seen the reaction when he turned up looking for ‘the sliotar’.
Unfortunately after all the hard work, the fan in question will probably have to get rid of it now that Dublin are out, unless he keeps it until next year of course; as long as he wears a hat throughout the winter he’ll be grand.
Hat-tip to Niall Geraghty for sending this one into us
