Quite a lot those not working today seemed to be outside enjoying the fantastic weather, but it wasn’t all positive at some well-known beaches today.
Seaside villages and towns looked to be thronged today as the season of 99s and sandwiches full of sand looks to be well and truly underway. However, some van owners will be ruing their decisions to park on the beach.
This picture was sent in from Bettystown, showing not one, but two vans looking in trouble with the incoming tide on the Meath beach.
And it wasn’t just in Meath where vehicle owners were in a spot of bother on the beach, as Portmarnock beach witnessed a similar scenario. This time it was the burger van that needed some assistance as beach goers, possibly hungry and wanting their dinner, tried to move the van.
As we said, life isn’t always a a beach.
