Pic: Manchester United’s Class of ’92 as you’ve never seen them before… on the labels of Coke bottles

Either Phil Neville has a lot of time of his hands or he was the recipient of a pretty lovely gift. We suspect the latter.

Either Phil Neville has a lot of time of his hands or he was the recipient of a pretty lovely gift. We suspect the latter.

The former Manchester United defender was let go from the coaching staff during the summer once Louis van Gaal took over as manager at Old Trafford, but much like his brother Gary, the club still holds a special place in his heart.

The younger Neville isn’t shy of illustrating his enduring allegiance to the Red Devils on social media and this morning he posted an image of eight glass Coke bottles with the label on each containing the name of the six most well-known members of the famous Class of ’92 as well as one with ‘United’ and another with ‘Ferguson’, the man responsible for introducing all of them into the first team, where they went on to enjoy unprecedented success.

No more than the special documentary made about the Class of ’92, it’s a pretty nice memento for Neville to have of their time together, even though his missus mightn’t be too happy about the bottles taking up so much space in the fridge.
