We always thought that Super Mario could walk on water. Now we have proof.

It looks like Mario Balotelli is going global. In Europe, the brilliant and batty striker has been a star for years but it looks like he’s about to break the US too. Sports Illustrated, that most prestigious of US sports magazines, have only gone and done a massive feature on the AC Milan front man (by US soccer writer Grant Wahl) and they have given Mario the front cover. And it is a very cool front cover indeed, with the 23-year old appearing to walk on water, while a mini biography of his life are displayed all around him. mario-balotelli-sicover He’s even dubbed ‘The most interesting man in the world’ and in fairness, it’s hard to argue with that billing.
