Poor Ashley is getting abuse from all angles…
The internet exploded last week when a team photo of Serie A side Roma appeared online which showed Ashley Cole weirdly isolated from the rest of his teammates and ever since there’s been meme after meme and piss-take after piss-take.
In fairness to Cole, he’s taking it all in really good spirits and he’s retweeted loads of the best ones over on his Twitter page including one of his ex-wife Cheryl Cole and her new fella.
However, there still seems to be some mileage in the joke because Peterborough United made reference to it today when they released their official team photo for the new season. Check out who is lurking to the side, yep, none other than lonely Ashley Cole…
