The esteemed French tennis venue Roland Garros made a bit of an embarrassing gender blunder today when congratulating the women’s world no.1.
Everyone who works in the big bad world that is online media will know that spelling mistakes happen to everyone at some point (see here), but as the Twitter account manager at Roland Garros recently found out, some are more embarrassing than others…

In fairness to Roland Garros, they quickly amended the Tweet, but this is the interweb and nothing ever gets fully deleted from it. Just ask Beyonce…
