Pic: Spurs’ dressing room in Russia tonight was very weird indeed

Hey, we’ve all got changed in worse but this is definitely odd, right?

Hey, we’ve all got changed in worse but this is definitely odd, right?

Anyone who has played GAA or soccer in Ireland will have gotten changed for games in an array of buildings best described as ‘under furnished’ in their time. Sometimes, the ‘building’ is a shipping container and sometimes you don’t even have that luxury.

With that in mind, we don’t expect you to feel too sorry for the Spurs squad tonight, but they still had to get togged out in a rather weird dressing room.

Playing Anzhi Makhachkala in the Europa League, this was the set up for each player. No benches, no locker, just a chair with a built in thing for hanging your jacket.

It was so odd, the Spurs official Instagram account tweeted the picture, but at least it didn’t affect the players at the Saturn Stadium, as Spurs won 2-0 with goals by Jermain Defoe and Nacer Chadli.
