Pic: Tahiti’s keeper removed his shorts for a post-game interview last night

It was a very tough night at the office for Tahiti stopper Mickael Roche against Spain so we will cut him some slack but what was up with his post-match clobber?

In case you missed it, last night Spain battered Tahiti 10-0 and it could have been more but Spain definitely took the foot off the gas. And while he did spend a fair bit of time picking the ball out of the net, Tahiti keeper Mickael Roche did make one or two decent saves.

The highlight of the game, for him at least, was when Fernando Torres blasted a peno against the crossbar and the PE teacher celebrated like he’d made the save of the season. Bless.

Anyway, after the final whistle he thanked the crowd, swapped shirts with Pepe Reina and then headed to the mixed zone for some interviews.

But somewhere between the pitch and the media he lost his shorts, his boots, and his socks but somehow his shinpads stayed in place.

As post-match outfits go, it’s one of the stranger ones, though as a PE teacher, we’re sure he has made a few kids who forgot their gear play in something similar.
