The club has admitted that the logo was “completely inappropriate”.
The Premier League champions have moved quickly after coming in for criticism following the publication of a Swastika-style club logo on a weekly email sent to supporters by issuing an apology and promising to launch an internal inquiry.
The United Uncovered email, which bears the offending image, also carries the heading of New Order – a term linked to Nazism following Adolf Hitler’s call in 1941 for a European New Order – above images of several players, including Adnan Januzaj, David de Gea and Danny Welbeck.
United’s Head of Media, David Sternberg quickly took to Twitter to apologise and announce that an investigation would be underway.
@dairoberts @MANUNITED I agree, completely inappropriate, we apologise unreservedly and are taking appropriate internal action.

Between autobiographies, indifferent results and now this, there are no shortage of stories from Old Trafford at the minute.
