To celebrate the 17th anniversary of his WWE debut, The Rock tweeted out what he looked like that day. Safe to say he was a bit different.
One of the best things about The Rock, apart from his all-round awesomeness, is his ability to take the piss out of himself and not take himself too seriously.
He frequently tweets out old pictures of himself, inviting people to slag him off, and on the anniversary of a very big day in his life, he tweeted out a doozy.
At Survivor Series in November 1996, a wrestler called Rocky Maivia made his debut, winning an eight-man match at Madison Square Garden. Within three months he would be Intercontinental Champ and by the middle of 1997, he was known simply as The Rock, the name Dwayne Johnson is still best known as today.
Earlier today Johnson tweeted a snap of that first WWE appearance at MSG, and we barely recognise the big fella looking at this fresh-faced 24-year-old.
