Pics: Are these going to be Man United’s new jerseys for the 2014/15 season?

As well as a new manager and some new signings, it looks as if Manchester United fans will have some new jerseys to look forward to ahead of next season, with leaked images of what the new kit might look like doing the rounds online today.

The images, courtesy of United fan site Red Mancunian, are smudgy at best, but you can still get a decent picture of what the alleged new kits look like; the home shirt coming in a fairly glossy red with a round collar, while the white away kit appears fairly plain and maintains the buttoned-up collar that is a feature of the current home jersey. Both kits, of course, feature the Chevrolet logo, with the car giants set to replace AON as the main sponsor from next season on.

It wouldn’t be the first time that leaked images of the jerseys that the United players will apparently wear next season have appeared online and while we can’t speak for the taste of everyone else, we certainly preferred the alternative versions – or blueprints for the design – that were doing the rounds a few months ago.

Next season marks the end of United’s current deal with Nike, with recent reports suggesting that the club could be on the verge of a world record £60 million per year deal with Adidas, although by the terms of their current contract, Nike have the right to match any offer that might be made by their competitors.

Whether or not the leaked designs end up becoming United’s kits for realsies next season will soon become clear, but on first impressions, would United fans say yay or nay?
