Gold soles and studs on all-white boots. Would you wear these?
Nike have just announced a very special new boot they have created just for the biggest name on their books, Cristiano Ronaldo. They say they have created the Nike Mercurial IX CR7 to commemorate his remarkable season, and only 100 pairs of these babies will be made.
Largely white, but with the addition of a painted metallic gold sole, only the very bravest of players would wear these at five-a-side.
They go on sale on April 16, with each pair having a personalised number at the heel. No word on a price yet but we suspect they are going to be pricey.
