Pics: The UK's Twitter reaction to seeing hurling for the first time is pretty hilarious
To be honest, we were expecting a reaction like this...
Sky aired their first ever GAA match last night when they showed Kilkenny's hammering of Offaly in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship on Sky Sports 3. By our own standards, it wasn't much of a spectacle because it was so one-sided so we weren't too blown away by what we saw.
But imagine if you were watching the sport for the very first time like a lot of people in the UK were, I'm sure it would have been a hell of a lot more exciting.
We did a quick Twitter search of "Sky Sports 3" this morning and what we found is pretty funny, it's fair to say we have a very unique sport indeed.
Watching Hurling on sky sports 3. Quite possibly the most bizarre sport I have ever seen.

I don't understand the rules, but I'm quite enjoying the Hurling on Sky Sports 3. Strange breed of football, rugby and hockey it seems.
