Mike McCarthy got caught by the studs of Ian Evans, and was worse for wear as a result

Ian Evans saw red for his stamp on Mike McCarthy in the game against Ospreys tonight, but that wasn't the only red that was seen on the field. McCarthy was taken off with a serious blood injury and was quite clearly seriously wounded as a result of Evans' actions. Mike McCarthy leaves the field with a blood injury 17/1/2014 Although it looks like something from a movie, it was very much real. He exchanged some frank words with Alun-Wyn Jones on the way off to get treatment, but that one will most certainly sting in the morning.
