It must have really hurt, but it made for a great sporting picture
Chris Ashton and Robbie Henshaw went up for an aerial duel today in the game between Connacht and Saracens in the Heineken Cup, but there was only one winner as the two collided in mid-air, making for a pretty spectacular snap.
Henshaw looked to come off the better of it, but we’re sure that both players will be feeling that one in the morning.
However, that aerial battle was about all that Connacht won on the day, as Saracens went to town with an impressive offensive display, hammering the Irish side by a score of 64-6. They didn’t go down without a fight, literally, as tempers flared after Saracens scored their sixth try of the afternoon.
That notwithstanding, it was a a very grim day for any Connacht fans out there, who will be fairly inconsolable today we imagine.
