Recently in town for the Web Summit, Tony Hawk was presented with a pretty unique skateboard

We've all spent many, many hours of our lives playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and listening to its brilliant soundtrack, but we don't ever remember seeing a skateboard this class. Marcelo O'Reilly designed this very special piece to present to the man himself, Tony Hawk, at the Web Summit in Dublin this week, and being the legend that he is, he took for a little skate around the place. There was also a pretty cool Instagram video of the hurlboard posted up by the IDA, showcasing this brilliantly simple invention. The bar has most certainly been set for the next obligatory photo of a celebrity holding a hurl while on a trip to Ireland.
