Simon Cox has returned to the Madejski Stadium six years after leaving the club...

Reading have confirmed the signing of Simon Cox from Nottingham Forest on a two-year deal. The forward played 37 times and scored 8 goals for Forest last season and he'll hope the move to the Madejski will see him find the back of the the net on a more regular basis. The 27-year-old, who was a favourite of ex-Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni, returns to his first ever club after a six-year stint away which included spells at Swindon, West Brom and Forest.
