Roddy Collins has left his job as manager of Derry City.

The news was confirmed on Sunday evening and comes after Friday's defeat to Shamrock Rovers at the Brandywell left his side 7th in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division table. Collins only took on the Derry job seven months but has overseen just three victories in all competitions this season. Peter Hutton will now take over the role in a caretaker capacity.
