Apologies if this causes any offence to Kilkenny’s Willie Phelan, but we found this All-Ireland under-21 hurling final meme pretty funny.

With the senior hurling final going to a replay and the football final commanding so much attention it’s easy to forget that there’s a huge game in Thurles this evening, where Kilkenny and Clare will battle it out in the All-Ireland under-21 hurling final.

Fans of both sides have been doing their best to whip up a little buzz about the game, including one Clare fan who put this little meme together ahead of the big day.

We’re sure that it will be a physical encounter in Semple later on, but as long as the contact doesn’t venture into the territory suggested by the picture above then it should pass with little trouble.
