Put your feet up and get that coffee brewing, it's time to have a flick through the sports pages and see what's happening in the mad world of football transfers

According to Portuguese paper A Bola, it looks like Alex Ferguson is eyeing himself up a new defender, and the first name on his list is the Argentine Ezequiel Garay, pictured above having what we're sure is a lovely chat with Rooney.
However, he's going to face competition to nab him from Benfica, since it also seems that Barcelona think he'd make a great replacement for Carles Puyol, who hasn't got that much longer left in him.
Garay's contract runs until 2015, and his release clause is about €20 million, so the cheque book is going to need to be flashed on this one.
Paris Saint-Germain player Mamadou Sakho has stated that the PSG squad is too big, and he would be happy to move, meaning the bean counters at Arsenal and Liverpool are both scraping together some pennies to see can they lay their hands on the French international centre back.
In other news, one of our absolute dreams here at JOE has come true as the man with the best name in football, Ricky van Wolfswinkel, is on the move to the Premiership, so we'll get to talk about him a lot more often.
Well, at least he hopes he's on the move to the Premiership, since he's joining Norwich. The Canaries are probably safe, but things are getting tight down that end of the table, and they'll want to put some distance between themselves and the other strugglers.
After a disappointing second season under legendary coach Marcelo “el loco” Bielsa, Athletic Bilbao might be losing a few names in the summer apart from Fernando Llorente who's off to Italy.
It seems that Fernando Amorebieta is happy to see out his contract and move to the Premiership too, with Arsenal being his preferred destination. Exciting young talent Iker Muniain looks set to stay, but he'd definitely be one to add to the watchlist we reckon.
More news from Spain is that Alvaro Negredo and Jonathan dos Santos have both stated they would like to play in the Premier League, in particular Negredo saying it would be an ambition of his. If rumours are to be believed, he was nearly an Everton player at Christmas, so keep your eyes on this space for more on that.
It wasn't so long ago the Brede Hangeland was the talk of England, and had all the top clubs chasing his signature, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore, as talks at Fulham seem to be stalling.
The usual spiel has started from his camp since it looked like Hangeland might be moving, but with nothing more solid than interest linking him to “top clubs” according to his agent, it might be a less glamorous destination that awaits Brede come the end of the season.
Sunderland fans will be oh too aware that they need a striker to bang in a few goals, which is why Martin O'Neill is apparently eyeing up Ghana international Mahatma Otoo (do you see what we've done there?). Otoo apparently welcomes the interest, but Lyon are also in the chase, which could complicate issues.
