Keogh’s revelation comes just over a month after he accused Giovanni Trapattoni (with some grounds) of a lack of loyalty for not picking him in an extended 29-man Ireland squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Austria last month, so his Twitter account has been the source of some particularly distressing personal news in the last while.
Keogh, of course, isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last footballer to be targeted by burgulars but hopefully the authorities can help him recover his car and some of his stolen goods; given his current absence from the Ireland squad and Millwall’s struggles in the Championship he could do with a break at the moment.Explore more on these topics:
