Three people were confirmed dead in Brazil today after an accident during construction of one of the stadiums that will host the World Cup in the country next summer.
According to reports, three workers were killed after a crane collapsed at the Arena Corinthians in Sao Paolo and destroyed part of the stands in the stadium that is due to host the opening game of the World Cup next summer.
It is believed that workers were completing the final part of construction on the stadium as officials in the country aim to complete all stadia in time for the December deadline imposed by FIFA ahead of the tournament.
