Tipp’s Brendan Maher is an eagle-eyed chap and he has spotted a line-up change for Liverpool that should make Chelsea strong favourites this afternoon.
We have all spent all year joking about the money Liverpool have spent on players for a relatively paltry return. Andy Carroll, the one with the biggest price tag, gets the most grief, but Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson all arrived for serious money and have failed to deliver sufficiently.
But, if today’s Irish Daily Star is to be believed, Kenny Dalglish has a new plan to get some value out of one of his failed signings. The paper has printed a likely line-up for today’s game on page 95, in the middle of an interview with Liverpool stopper Pepe Reina.

But the team, as you can see above, omits the Spaniard, with former Sunderland player Henderson in goal today. We don’t know if this is the scoop of the year from the Star or, much more likely, a simple production error, but it certainly one way of surprising Chelsea and trying to recoup some of the £20million spent on the young English midfielder. Though how he is supposed to play right wing as well we don't know.
Hat-tip to Tipp star Maher for spotting and posting on Twitter.
