Transfer Talk: Anderson to swap fish suppers for antipasti, Gundogan makes transfery noises and Ince for Monaco?

Oh, and Shane Long still hasn't signed da ting, but is undergoing a medical at Hull.

It’s happening. It’s finally happening.

Anderson is trading in the fish suppers for the antipasti and heading to Fiorentina after heading to Italy for talks on Thursday.

The 25-year-old Brazilian never fulfilled his promise at Manchester United, having joined six and a half years ago from Porto.

He has only played four times in the Premier League under David Moyes and his departure will be the first significant departure since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down last summer.

Moyes, meanwhile, is taking a break from his efforts to bring 564 central midfielders to the club and is chatting to former Real Madrid defender Ezequiel Garay, 27, currently plying his trade with Benfica.

England under-21 international Thomas Ince looks set to snub a number of Premier League clubs as Monaco move into pole position to sign the Blackpool winger – cue disappointment for Swansea in particular, who appeared close to grabbing the former Liverpool man last week.

That sound you hear is the deafening silence coming from White Hart Lane at news that Tim Sherwood wants to bring Salomon Kalou to the club from Lille.

Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan is making noises.

Transfery noises.

“BVB are the first team I am talking to, I will soon make a well-thought decision. But I am keeping my options open at this point.”

The 23-year-old is wanted by both Manchester clubs and Real Madrid, but we’d be surprised if anything happened before the summer.

Shane Long. Hull medical. Just sign da ting, dammit.
