It seems Real Madrid are ready to sell Angel Di Maria and he’s been offered to Manchester United.
According to the Star, Real Madrid want £40m for the Argentinian winger and although United value him at closer to £30m, they are apparently ahead of other interested parties such as Arsenal, PSG and Juventus. 
Di Maria is said to have concerns about joining a club who are not in the Champions League, but super-agent, Jorge Mendes (pic above) is trying to make the deal happen. Mendes who wears a cape to emphasise his super-ness has been brought in to convince Di Maria that although United were rubbish last season, this season they promise to be less rubbish. He’ll join PSG so. Arsenal fans are you ready? Deep breath now…..and GO! The Daily Mirror report that Wenger is confident of a double swoop of Mathieu Debuchy and Alexis Sanchex for £35m. Surely Sanchez is worth that alone at least? Maybe if you buy a Sanchez you get a free Debuchy. 
The Daily Express say that Arsenal are going to offer Southampton £20m for their French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin (pic above). Southampton will then have three players on their books and one of them is the tea lady. The Metro are claiming that Arsenal have offered Real Madrid £23.8m for Sami Khedira who is apparently Mesut Ozil’s best friend forever. In a bizarre twist, if Khedira signs, he will share the same jersey as Ozil, they are that close…..allegedly. 
Barcelona are about to sign someone called Luis Suarez from Liverpool within the next 48 hours if you believe the Daily Mail. The relatively unknown Uruguayan international is being sought by the Catalans to add a bit of bite to their attack. Yeah, I went there. New Barcelona signing, Ivan Rakitic (pic above) also had his say on the whole Suarez controversy, saying, ‘To have the character and strength to apologise in front of the world shows what a noble person he is.’ Yeah Ivan, he’s positively dripping in nobility. Brilliant Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado (pic below) looks like he could be off to Bayern Munich according to the Daily Express. The player who plays for Fiorentina has been brilliant in Brazil and Pep Guardiola has been so impressed at his displays on the wing, he wants to bring him to Munich to play as a full-back so that Philip Lahm can play in midfield. The Italian club are said to want close to £40m for him. 
The Daily Star tell us that Porto have accepted a £32m bid from Manchester City for their French centre-half Elaquim Mangala (pic below). The player who is currently sitting on a bench in Brazil is also wanted by Chelsea and the player is said to prefer a move to London over the miserable greyness that is Manchester. Mangala is keeping everything crossed for a Chelsea bid. If Chelsea do not bid, it is thought that Mangala will claim political asylum in Brazil and will scream and scream until he is very ill. 
In other news, Juventus want Patrice Evra from Manchester United according to Talksport, while the Liverpool Echo, echo, echo, echo are saying that Southampton have turned down Liverpool’s £20m bid for their Croatian centre-half, Dejan Lovren. Lovren is said to be furious and has refused to go training such is his rage. It’s a real case of Lovren/Hate. I’ll just get my coat.
