Like all good jersey launches there was a leak or two but now we have the real deal, Liverpool’s home kit for 2013-14.
Based on the 1983-84 shirt that Liverpool wore all the way to European Cup success that season, the 2013-14 home kit, made by Warrior, was officially released last night.
The release contains all the usual guff, such as: ‘The four-way stretch mesh paneling under the arms and across the back allows airflow and ventilation, helping players stay comfortable in core heat areas of the body’. Lovely.
We know all you want to do is see the kit so here it is, as modelled by Steven Gerrard, plus the new keeper jersey worn by Pepe Reina.
