It was his third goal in sixth games, his ninth of the season and an absolute scorcher to boot; Andy Reid’s looking pretty sh*t hot at the moment.
Reid is in flying form for a Forest side still very much in the hunt for promotion to the Premier League and who did their chances of achieving that goal no harm with a 4-1 tonking of Blackburn at the City Ground yesterday.
The Dubliner put the icing on the cake of an impressive performance with Forest’s last goal in injury time at the end of the game, taking advantage of the Blackburn’s defence willingness to retreat by arrowing a left-footed screamer into the top corner that no ‘keeper would have stopped.
Reid is playing well, looking very trim and scoring goals and we’re sure Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane have been taking note too.
