Video: Another game, another Neymar belter
Brazil made a great start to the Confederations Cup Final against Spain and yet again Neymar will claim the headlines with a sensational goal.
Buoyed by a raucous home support, Fred gave the hosts an early lead with a bundled finish into the net, but if there was an element of fortune to the opener, there was no doubting the quality of the second.
Easily the most eye-catching performer of the tournament, the Barcelona-bound striker is beginning to make his fee look like a snip with a thundering left-footed finish that gave Iker Casillas no chance and put the home side two goals to the good at the interval and leave Spain staring down the barrel of a defeat.
A mention must also go to David Luiz, who made an incredible goal line clearance when Pedro looked to have dragged an out of sorts Spain level before Neymar extended Brazil’s lead.
They may not have the overall quality of Brazilian teams of yesteryear, but in Neymar they have one hell of a special player.
