In a scene reminiscent of trying to piss your opponent off in a game of FIFA and then hitting them with a goal to cap it all off, Al Qadsia beat Jordan’s Al Faisaly 1-0 in the AFC Cup and while we have seen some really special goals over the past week, this is just as eye-catching.
It won’t have the same high-profile as Arsenal’s effort at the weekend, or the individual brilliance of Pajtim Kasami for Fulham on Monday night, but it does involve 25 passes, a backheel assist and a quality finish for what turned out to be the winner.
We don’t know the Arabic for tiki-taka, but this goal is deserving of such a lofty title.
