A fist pump seems like a difficult manoeuvre to get wrong, but Chad Qualls of the Miami Marlins showed how it was done last night in Major League Baseball.
The pitcher was understandably all fired up after striking out Mets infielder Omar Quintanilla to end the eighth inning with the score tied at two. His attempt to demonstrate his excitement however went a little askew.

Of greater significance than that mishap as far as the Marlins were concerned was that they went on to lose the game to the Mets 4-2 in 10 innings.
