Well Benfica goalie Paulo Lopez obviously has not left this childhood trait behind him as he appears to accidentally break the to Super Taca trophy against the goalpost while celebrating his sides win over Rio Ave FC, before passing the trophy over to one of his teammates and hightailing it out of there.
The Super Taca is basically the Portuguese equivalent of the English Community Shield that is played before the start of the season every year.
Now we are not saying that Lopez is trying to escape blame for the breakage, and indeed he appears to have done himself an injury during the smash, but we have to admit it is highly amusing to watch his reaction.
