The importance of warming up properly in the cold weather is essential for players, but some match officials are lagging in their technique.

This video shows a fifth official during a Europa League tie last night with a very unique ‘lunge and look’ technique.

The guys in the studio take great delight in the odd warm-up and we are struggling to see the benefits, other than providing entertainment for the viewers.

Which is a welcome relief from some of the fare served up in the Europa League thus far.
