This is Paul from Electric Escapes - here's how he started up his own business.

Paul was one of two start-ups that pitched at the Start-up Academy in Galway on July 17 with his 'cycle adventure' holidays.

The next Start-up Academy is taking place at Flannerys on Upper Denmark St., Limerick on Wednesday July 8 from 6.30-9.30pm.

There will be pitches from more start-ups, like Paul, and talks by established entrepreneurs including JOE's capo di tutti capi, Niall McGarry and Mobanode's Shane McAllister.

AIB start-up Academy is a joint venture between AIB and The Irish Times which will provide information and network opportunities.

Businesses can also win a place at AIB Start-up academy run by Irish Times Training and get support for their new business.

Pitching in Limerick will be Hannah Wrixon with Last Minute Minders, Natalie King with Natalie King design and Bernie Kinsella with Worldbox.ie.

You can book your tickets here to attend an evening of shrewd business advice and a showcase of talent.
