Johannes Geis of Mainz 05 took one of the worst free-kicks of all time on Saturday in the Bundesliga clash with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
It's 0-0- in a very tense encounter between your team and Borussia Dortmund, one of the leading lights in German football and you step up to take a free-kick on the wing in a dangerous area. You weigh up your options and decide a whipped in cross will cause mayhem... but it doesn't quite pan out that way. The reaction from the Dortmund fan and the Mainz manager sum it up perfectly...

Thankfully for Geis, his team went on to win the match 2-0 so at least his awful free-kick didn't end up making any difference.
