If we were Danny Higginbotham, we’d be going out of our way never to encounter Roy Keane again after telling this story on BT Sport this afternoon.
The former Manchester United defender was on punditry duty for Stoke’s clash with QPR this afternoon and while discussing the expectation levels at Stoke while he was at the club, he compared it to what Roy Keane expected from his players when he was Sunderland manager.
Better you listen to it yourself in full rather than us attempting to explain what it’s all about, but it’s pure Keano and the bit about him buying hoodies for the entire squad after a poor performance is priceless.
Like we said, if we were Danny, we wouldn’t plan on running into Roy again in a hurry.
