Richard Dunne, David Forde and Conor Sammon have a tough task ahead of them against the Swedes tonight, but after this, they’ll be ready for anything.
In a task set by Three Ireland, the primary sponsor of the Irish football team, the trio bravely stepped into the Mastermind chair to be given a grilling by two very young but very tough taskmasters, Matthew Nolan (9) and Matthew Hanley (8) from St. Oliver Plunkett School Malahide.
The two Matthews found out what they thought of Thierry Henry, and if they knew the words to the national anthem amongst other difficult questions and as well as being well able to ask the hard questions, they were up for a laugh too; their manipulation of one particular question posed to Richard Dunne is pure gold.
Of the trio, Richie performed the best but the tables were turned on the two young lads when Giovanni Trapattoni himself made him an appearance and took them to school at the end of the clip.
Bigger tests await the manager and all three players tonight but if they can handle Matthew and Matthew, they can handle Zlatan and anything the Swedes will throw at them.
Come on you Boys in Green.
