Slipping in a puddle is embarrassing at the best of times, slipping in a puddle in front a bunch of rowdy football fans must be absolutely mortifying.
Spare a thought then, for the poor policeman at the Millwall v Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night who was on his way to restore order in a section of the crowd where things had begun to get a bit rowdy after a mini-scuffle broke out in front of them on the pitch.
In his haste to get to the disturbance, the poor policeman in question ran straight into a puddle and fell as if he had just stepped on a giant banana, soaking himself and providing great amusement for the crowd in the process.
Do we feel a little immature giggling at this? Yes. Will it stop us watching it repeatedly and laughing every time? Not on your life.
