A 7.3 earthquake has struck off the coast of Japan this morning and a tsunami warning has been issued. Here’s some footage of how the earthquake shook Tokyo.
A few hours ago an earthquake struck 150 miles off the east coast of Japan. That triggered a tsunami warning and a one-metre high wave is reported to have hit the city of Ishinomaki.
In Tokyo, the quake was very strong, reported by CNN to be the most violent since the dreadful one that caused devastation back in March 2011, and this three video, reported to be from the city this morning, show what it was like there today in one electronics store.
We hope there is no damage or injury on the scale of 2011 this time.
