Gareth Bale put in a fantastic performance last night to score the perfect hat-trick in front of a very happy home crowd
The pressure of arriving as the most expensive player in the world seemed to be giving Gareth Bale a few problems when he first started with Real Madrid, but now that he’s back to full fitness he’s beginning to show the fans at the Bernabeu that he may well have been worth the money.
Last night he put in a fantastic performance, grabbing three goals (as well as an assist) and scoring the perfect hat-trick while he was at it.
JOE thinks the keeper could have done a bit better with the first one, as Bale scored with a header, while he started the move for the second before finishing off a pass from Marcelo nicely. He finishes the scoring off for the night late in the game with his left, again from a Marcelo assist, giving him the perfect hat-trick, and the press in Madrid have been giving him glowing reports in what was a fairly decent night out for the Welshman.
