The World University Games are continuing in Russia and both our soccer teams have made it through to the quarter-finals, a fantastic achievement.
With JOE-sponsored Tom King in their ranks, the lads had us all on the edge of our seat last night as they went down 1-0 to Mexico but made it through on goal difference to play France on Friday.
The women’s team play Great Britain today in their quarter-final, with the winner likely to face Brazil in the semi-final.
In the aftermath of last night’s progress for the lads, both the men’s and women’s team took to the pitch to celebrate their success thus far.
