At the launch of the Croke Park Classic, JOE’s Eric Lalor caught up with former Dublin player Mossy Quinn and Monaghan player Colin Walshe to chat about American Football and GAA.
Mossy is still one of the deadliest players in the game and although not playing inter-county football any more, he won the All-Ireland Club Championship recently with his club St Vincent’s. Colin has had a great 12 months with Monaghan, winning the Ulster Football Championship for the first time in 25 years last year, winning his first All-Star award and landing the Division 2 league title after beating Donegal in the final at Croke Park as recently as Sunday.
Both share a passion for American Football and we spoke to them about that and, of course, about the GAA, while both of them also took on Eric in an American Football Time Challenge, which you can view here
