The finish was pretty sweet but as far as we’re concerned this effort is all about that glorious first touch.
Last season’s Champions League semi-finalists didn’t have it all their own way away to Valladolid last night and required a quite glorious goal from 20-year old Bartlomiej Pawłowski to rescue a point.
With 15 minutes left on the clock, Pawlowski, who is on loan at Malaga from Widzew Lodz, controlled an Ignacio Camacho cross while on the run with a delightful first touch before smashing the ball beyond the Valladolid ‘keeper and into the net.
Beautiful, just beautiful.
