The Brazilian superstar’s first season at Barcelona wasn’t amazing by any means, but he’ll have the opportunity to show the world what he’s really made of on home turf when the World Cup gets underway next week.
To warm-up for the tournament, Brazil are taking on Panama in a friendly this evening and Neymar got the scoring underway with the most delicate of free-kicks, curling the ball into the corner having barely taken a few steps towards the ball in the run-up.
A few more of these wouldn’t go amiss when the real thing gets underway; they wouldn’t go amiss at all.
