Next time you swing at fresh air and want to make up for it quickly, try scoring with a ridiculous rabona
Everyone knows Slovakian journeyman Viliam Macko, right? And you’ve been keeping a close eye on his career to date, right? Well then you’ll know that he’s playing for Ang Thong FC, who he joined last year, of course, and that he helped his side to a 2-0 win on Saturday away to BBCU.
That win kept them in top spot in the first division, but the goal of the match was undoubtedly this effort from Macko, who initially embarrassed himself with a complete swing at fresh air, before almost instantly making up for it with this superb rabona.
The ball is lofted over the head of the despairing keeper, and even a BBCU defender busting a gut to get back can’t save the ball from going in. Ah rabona, the friend of the totally one-footed player.
This one only popped up on our radar today, but is certainly a late contender for goal of the weekend. That said, Chris Forrester’s 45-yard volley has a decent chance too.
